Pondering the Final Days
Luke 21:
Now when these things begin to happen, look up, lift up your heads, for your redemption draws near.
(New King James Version)
The world is a mess isn't it? Wars, disease, natural disasters, economic crisis... a huge mess... but this mess bares eerily strange resemblance to another mess… something commonly called the Final Days. Eschatology, the study of the Final Days, seems to me to be a very interesting subject right now. I’ve had interest in this subject for quite some time, but recent world events (especially the global economic crisis) have lead me to thinking more about this subject… and thinking more seriously. I truly do wonder how much time this earth has left in its current state. I wonder when we, mankind, along with every other being in both the earthly and heavenly realms will face the destruction of the current earth and the establishment of a new earth and a new heaven. In this section of my site, I provide you with passages from ancient text (a.k.a. the Bible) that seem to paint a picture of our future, and some thoughts of my own on the matter.
